I received my bachelor's degree in international affairs, concentrating in global public health.
Currently, I am working towards a post-baccalaureate premedical certificate. I've previously worked
as an EMT for Lifestar Response, as an intern for the Virginia Health Department's Alexandria
mosquito control program, and as a deckhand on the Merchant Vessel Odyssey III.
I am intensely interested in the epidemiology of chronic disease, as well as biobehavioral health,
neglected tropical diseases, global public health, health policy, and medical anthropology.
